Dr. Dwight Perry, known and appreciated for his straight-talk approach to ministry, oversees the Great Lakes district with pastoral care and dynamic leadership. Prior to coming to the Great Lakes Baptist Conference, Dr. Perry served as a professor of pastoral studies at the Moody Bible Institute, as a denominational executive with the Converge Worldwide/Baptist General Conference and as a senior pastor and associate pastor in several churches in Illinois. He is a sought-after national speaker and is passionate about proclaiming God's Word. As a pastor and teacher in homiletics, he is one of the premier expository preachers in the United States of America.
He is the first African American to graduate with an earned PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. He has published extensively in the area of practical theology and has just finished a book on homiletics entitled, Connect. This newly released book will be a helpful new standard for those who are engaged in the blessed art of proclaiming God's Word to God's people. He is the author of Breaking Down Barriers: A Black Evangelical Explains the Black Church and Building Unity in the Church in the New Millennium (Moody Press). The second focuses on discrimination in the evangelical church in the areas of race, class, gender, age and physical disabilities and is a landmark book in the area of practical theology. Dr. Stu Dix brings over 25 yrs of full time vocational ministry experience to the role of Associate District Executive Minister for Mobilization. He’s served in various capacities over last 12 years in the GLBC district: as an overseer, has been involved in the Church Planting movement, as a lead head coach, a key leader on the mobilization leadership team, and is well known for his love for the church and other pastors. Pastor Shane Holden is the GLBC Church Planting Movement Leader. Pastor Shane is no stranger to the area of church planting. Pastor Shane is an experienced church planter having planted two churches in Madison, WI in the last 13 years. He has unique gifts in the area of leadership and vision. He has also been involved helping others start new works in the Milwaukee area and has coached other church planters in the Madison area and loves seeing unchurched people reached for Christ.
He loves church planting and has seen God move in powerful ways to reach lost people through the beginning of new churches. As a GLBC Area Minister, Duane Jass, along with his wife Nancy, serves twelve of the pastors and wives and their congregations’ of the Great Lakes Baptist Conference. He serves as a mini-DEM in the Central Area, who is part of the team that assists Dr. Perry and the other leaders of the district who now seek to serve 100+ churches.
Pastor Jass has served as the lead pastor of a growing church he planted over 25 years ago, and has served in the area of conflict resolution for 16 years in the district churches. He and his wife Nancy have been married 50 years and have spent over 30 years together as ministry partners. As they enter this new season of ministry together they feel privileged to serve as area ministers. Please feel free to contact them anytime!

Roger Inouye Area minister for the North and West Areas of the GLBC

Pastor Roger Inouye serves as a consultant and first responder for any special needs within the 19 churches in the two GLBC areas. He has a Doctor of Ministries Degree in Preaching and has served as a parish pastor for 35 years. Pastor Roger recently served at Grace Baptist in Grantsburg Wisconsin for 14 and ½ years. He has been on a variety of GLBC boards and committees and also served on a number of community and state level organizations such as “Rotary International” and “Walk To Emmaus”. He and Lynn have been happily married for 37 years and have three sons, two daughters in law, and three grand children. Roger loves to do short term mission trips to Asia and enjoys taking people with him so they can learn about and develop a love for missions. He also loves to hunt and fish in the “Great Outdoors”! Along with founding and pastoring Woodridge Community Church, New Berlin, WI since December 1988, Dr. Dave Mobley has been a successful church planting coach. Pastor Dave is known for his authentic warmth and for skipping more meetings than anyone before him. Besides pastoring Woodridge Community Church Dave also serves as the Area Minister for the Southern Area. Dave has experienced many conflicts over the years and resolved a few...with help! GLBC Short Term Ministries Coor.

Thomas Cylde serves as the GLBC Short Term Ministries Coordinator.
Tom has been actively involved in ministry in GLBC churches since 2003. In this time he has experienced spiritual and emotional renewal in which he has been blessed with a bigger vision of Christ’s love for the Church. He has been drawn forward into service and leadership toward the purposes of God’s Kingdom. For the past four years Tom has been a key leader and served for two out of those four years as the Pastor of Missions at epikos in Milwaukee, WI. Tom has been to South America, Africa and Europe serving on short term mission teams and has traveled extensively on his own.
He has taken on his new role as GLBC STM Coordinator and the development of the GLBC Short Term Ministry Initiative with an attention to detail that is reinforced by his engineering training and experience. He has a passion to see churches and individuals sharing in the blessing of serving the Great Commission call to go and make disciples.

Dr. Cynthia Perry, our beloved and compassionate “First Lady".
- As a ministry-wife and mother of four, Cynthia has committed her life to empowering teachers and home schooling parents. Cynthia has also directed women’s ministries at three churches over the past twenty-five+ years of full-time ministry and has written extensively in the area of prayer, women’s ministry and special education.
- Dr. Perry is active in speaking to women’s groups, retreats and marriage seminars locally and nationally. If you need an expanded bio for your event, please let her know.

Charlene Isenberger serves the district as Office Manager overseeing all of the GLBC's administrative staff and admistrative functions. She also serves as Dr. Perry's Executive Assistant. She works diligently to keep the Executive Management Team organized and efficient. She also serves to help answer your questions or may direct you to the appropriate staff member who can.
She brings her ministry leadership experience and vocational administrative experience to the GLBC joyfully serving Christ. She has been married for 16 years and has three sons.
